This Privacy Policy explains how HAJZTO (“HAJZTO”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information. It covers two separate services: the HAJZTO mobile app, where players find sports venues and send booking requests, and this marketing website, hajzto-lb.com, which provides information and contact forms. Where the two differ, this policy says so.
At a glance
- In the app, we collect the details you give us to create an account and send booking requests: your name, email, phone number, optional profile photo, and your bookings, reviews and tournament registrations.
- When you send a booking request, the venue receives your name, email address, phone number and the booking details so it can confirm or decline it.
- HAJZTO does not process electronic payments and does not collect or store payment card details. Any fees are arranged and paid directly between you and the venue, outside the app.
- The website has no accounts, advertising or analytics. Messages sent through its forms are emailed to our team and are not stored in a website database.
- We do not sell personal information.
- You can ask us to delete your account at any time. See Account Deletion.
Who we are and how to contact us
HAJZTO is a sports venue discovery and booking-request service based in Beirut, Lebanon. HAJZTO is currently an independent project and is not a registered company. For any privacy question or request, email bookings@hajzto-lb.com.
Information we collect in the app
You can browse sports and venues as a guest. When you create an account and use the app, we collect:
- Account details: your first and last name, email address, phone number and password. Your password is stored only as a one-way hash, not in readable form.
- Profile photo: only if you choose to add one.
- Booking requests: the venue and court or pitch you choose, the date, start time and duration, the booking status (for example pending, confirmed, declined or cancelled) and a booking reference.
- Tournament registrations: if you register a team for a tournament or event in the app, the team name, the number of players and the event you registered for.
- Reviews: the rating and comment you choose to post about a venue.
- Notifications: a device notification token so we can send booking updates to your phone, and the in-app notifications we send you.
- Password reset: if you reset your password, a temporary code linked to your account.
Like most online services, the servers that run the app may record technical information such as IP addresses and request times in order to operate and secure the service.
Information we collect on this website
The website is informational. It has no user accounts, no advertising, and no analytics or tracking tools. It does not take bookings or payments.
- Contact and List Your Court forms: we receive what you enter, such as your name, email address, phone number, venue details and message. Submissions are sent to our team by email (bookings@hajzto-lb.com) and are not stored in a website database.
- Security cookie: the forms use one strictly necessary cookie to block forged submissions. It contains a random value, no personal information, and expires after two hours.
- Anti-spam records: to limit repeated submissions, we keep a one-way-hashed value derived from the network address that submitted a form, together with recent submission times. Only the last 24 hours of submissions are counted. Each time a form is submitted, older entries are discarded and records with no activity in the last 24 hours are deleted.
- Technical logs: our form handlers keep short technical logs (for example the time, the form type and a reference number) without the contents of your message. Our web host may also keep standard server logs.
The website’s fonts and files are served from our own host. Links to Instagram and WhatsApp open those services, which have their own privacy policies.
How we use information
- To create and manage your account and sign you in.
- To send your booking requests to venues, show their status, and let you or the venue cancel a booking.
- To send booking-related emails and push notifications, such as a new request to the venue, or a confirmation, decline or cancellation to you.
- To manage tournament registrations.
- To display reviews to other app users.
- To help you reset your password.
- To answer website messages and review venue partnership inquiries.
- To keep HAJZTO secure, prevent misuse and enforce our Terms & Conditions.
When information is shared
- With the venue you send a request to: your name, email address, phone number and the booking details, so the venue can confirm, decline or cancel the booking and contact you about it. The venue is also told when you cancel.
- With other app users: reviews you post are shown with your name and, where available, your profile photo.
- Within HAJZTO: authorised HAJZTO staff can access account and booking information to run the service, provide support and handle misuse.
- With service providers: companies that provide our technical infrastructure process information on our behalf. These include Google Firebase Cloud Messaging, which delivers app push notifications, and the hosting and email providers that run our servers, website and email (the website and its email are hosted by Hostinger). Some providers may process information outside Lebanon.
- When required by law: if we must respond to a valid legal request, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and others.
We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.
Payments
HAJZTO does not currently support electronic payments. There is no in-app card payment, no PayPal or Google Pay payment and no online checkout, and HAJZTO does not process payments.
We do not collect or store payment card details. Any venue or booking fees, and any tournament registration fees, are arranged and paid directly between you and the venue or the tournament’s organiser, outside the HAJZTO app, according to their own terms.
How we protect information
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. For example, passwords are stored as one-way hashes, access to account and booking data is limited by role, and the app connects to our servers over HTTPS. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
How long we keep information
- App account information is kept while your account exists. Your booking history, reviews, tournament registrations and notifications stay linked to your account until it is deleted.
- When a customer account is deleted through HAJZTO’s deletion process, the account details, profile photo, bookings, reviews, tournament registrations, notifications and password-reset codes are deleted together. See Account Deletion.
- Website inquiry emails are kept only as long as needed to handle the inquiry and any resulting discussion.
- Backups and logs: copies of information may remain for a limited time in routine backups or technical logs kept by us or our hosting providers until they are overwritten or deleted.
- Information held by venues: details a venue received about your booking, or recorded outside HAJZTO (for example after contacting you by phone or WhatsApp), are held by that venue and are not removed by deleting your HAJZTO account.
Your choices
- You can view and update your profile details in the app.
- You can turn off push notifications in your phone’s settings.
- You can request deletion of your account, as described on our Account Deletion page.
- You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing bookings@hajzto-lb.com. We may need to confirm your identity first.
Age requirements
HAJZTO is intended for people aged 16 and over. Users aged 16 or 17 may use HAJZTO subject to applicable legal requirements, including consent from a parent or guardian where the law requires it.
The app does not currently verify age or collect parental consent. If you believe that someone under 16, or a minor without any required consent, has given us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps, which may include deleting the account.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as HAJZTO changes. The “last updated” date at the top shows the latest version. We will announce significant changes in the app or on this website.
